- Ordo allows users to manually enter expenses, budgets, and optional notes.
- All financial data (expenses, budgets, and app settings) is stored locally on the user’s device.
- Local data is stored in an encrypted database using industry-standard encryption (SQLCipher).
- Currency preferences and cached exchange rate data are stored locally using Android DataStore.
- We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers.

2. Internet Usage & Currency Data
- Ordo may access the internet to retrieve currency exchange rates.
- Exchange rates are fetched from the public Frankfurter API.
- No authentication, user identifiers, or personal information are sent when requesting exchange rates.
- Retrieved exchange rate data may be cached locally on the device to support offline use and improve performance.
- Expense data, budgets, and user-entered information are never transmitted off the device.

3. Permissions
Ordo requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality:
- Internet access (used solely for retrieving currency exchange rates).
- Storage access (only when exporting data to a CSV file).

Ordo does not request access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, or background activity tracking.

4. Data Export
- Users may export their expenses and budgets as a CSV file.
- Exported files are generated locally on the device and saved to a user-selected location.
- Ordo does not upload, store, or retain exported files.

5. Third-Party Services
- Ordo uses the Frankfurter API exclusively for currency exchange rate data.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or profiling services are used.
- No user data is shared with third parties.

6. Data Security
- All stored data is encrypted at rest using a locally generated encryption key.
- Encryption keys are protected by the Android Keystore and never leave the device.
- Users remain in full control of their data and may delete all stored data at any time from within the app.

7. Children’s Privacy
- Ordo does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
- As no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app is suitable for general audiences.

8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app’s functionality changes or to comply with legal requirements.
