Volume Booster PI is a strictly local utility application built to safely boost your device's audio. We do not directly collect, harvest, or store personal data for our own use. However, the app utilizes third-party services, such as Google AdMob, which may automatically collect specific data as outlined in Section 4.
Your app preferences, including theme settings and notification flags, are securely saved locally on your device within an encrypted local database.

2. Audio Modification
- To deliver its main features, the app applies audio gain to your device's media stream using standard Android audio effects.
- We do not record, intercept, listen to, or process the actual content of the audio you play (such as your music, videos, or phone calls). The app solely alters the output volume limits.

3. Permissions
We request only the absolute minimum permissions necessary for the app to function properly:
- Modify Audio Settings: Needed to safely adjust and enhance your device's volume and overall audio output.
- Foreground Service (Media Playback): Required by the Android operating system to keep the audio amplifier running consistently in the background while you navigate to other applications.
- Post Notifications: Needed to display a persistent control panel in your notification drawer, allowing you to monitor the engine's status and disable it instantly.
- Network & Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE): These permissions are strictly utilized by our third-party advertising partner (Google AdMob) to fetch and display advertisements, and to load the necessary consent forms. The core audio amplifier engine itself operates completely offline and does not transmit any of your data.

4. Third-Party Services & Advertising
- Volume Booster PI integrates third-party SDKs specifically for advertising purposes (Google AdMob).
- Google AdMob is provided by Google LLC and processes data in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy.
- We display ads to support the continuous development of the app. To deliver these ads, measure their performance, and prevent fraudulent activity, our advertising partner automatically collects certain data points. 
- This collected data includes device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic logs (like crash reports and performance metrics).
- Depending on your geographic location, you will be presented with a User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form allowing you to manage your personalized ad preferences.

5. Security & Compliance
- We utilize local database encryption to keep your internal app configurations and preferences secure on your physical device. 
- While your app settings remain strictly local and safe, we ensure that any data handled by our advertising partners meets strict industry security standards.
- Volume Booster PI fully complies with Google Play's Data Safety policies.

6. Children's Privacy
- Volume Booster PI does not knowingly target, solicit, or collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13.
